I dropped in an IBM TravelStar 20Gig 5400rpm drive into my 1400c (166 at the time, now is 333G3) and have been extremely satisfied with the performance. Picked it up at one of those fair ground PC sales for 80 bucks about 8 months ago.
The install was cake. Had it up and running in 15 minutes. Lost the ability to use my external Jaz or connect in SCSI disk mode, but I mainly connect via ethernet to backup stuff, so for me it's no big loss. on 6/20/03 3:42 PM, Rick McCutcheon at [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > Can someone point me to a good FAQ or 2 about choosing and installing a > larger hard drive on the 1400?
