Lost the ability to use my external Jaz or connect in SCSI disk mode, but I mainly connect via ethernet to backup stuff, so for me it's no big loss.
The loss of SCSI disk mode has been done to death in recent months, but what's the connection re: the Jaz?
I have one but haven't used it in ages; but I use my zip100 SCSI external from time to time.
