Just my opinion...I'd prefer to have the 3400 myself. To me, it comes down
to which you would rather have: the power of a G3 processor (1400) or the
ability to upgrade to CardBus and used USB and FireWire connectivity, and
the ability to run 144 megs of RAM (3400).

Given those options, I can live with the 603e processor the 3400 is stuck
with. It's almost unacceptable on the NuBus powerbooks (5300 and 1400) but
it's OK on the 3400's PCI architecture.
