Clean install later, all is fine, I've got the old system folder there to pull custom extensions from as I gigure out what I need vs. what I had installed just because it had been there for some time. QT6 is going on and I'm hoping that fixes the quickcam issue...since so many people posted saying the serial cams still worked in OS9 in their hands...
