Looking for info here....IIRC, it takes a 540c display and cable to convert to the active-matrix color screen, right? My question is which cable is that? There are three cables attached: one from the logic board that wraps around the right hinge, one goes from the bottom board to the back of the screen, and the third goes from the bottom board to the inverter board.
I bought a 540c display off of eBay, but it just shows up as 16 grays (although color is an option it doesn't actually display color) on both of my 520's. One has a PPC and the other has the 33mhz processor installed. I'm looking to upgrade the PPC one to active matrix, while the other gets a 520c screen and is going to my nephew for junior high work.
