The 1400 is PCMCIA. This is NOT Cardbus. Can't do USB on a 1400. >Second, I recently read about using compact flash cards to extend the >memory on this computer; is this true, and could somebody explain how this >works in laymen's terms please. Extending memory? Well, maybe you can use a PCMCIA adapter and a compact flash card to be your RAM Disk, but I don't think you gain much. Haven't tried it, however. >Third, and most important, I am having a little difficulty with my PB- >Norton Utilities say that i need to repair the disk because the free block >count is incorrect. Norton can only do limited repairs to the startup disk. Sort of like working on your car's engine while it is running. >Thanks in advance.
