Yes, it's the same thickness as the card itself.

I just tried inserting it into my 5300cs' bottom slot, and a GV modem/e'net card in the top. Fits like a glove. If the bottom of the USB card is flat w.r.t. the rest of the card ,you should be fine.

To anyone who has this. Is the antenna on this card skinny, ie just as thin as the card itself. I'm looking for such a card as I want to be able to insert it in the lower PC Card slot and put a USB card w/integral connectors in the top slot. The Orinoco I have sticks up and won't permit such a card above it.
