Speaking of wifi cards, anyone have or use one of these Proxim Harmony series cards?: <http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo =579897&sku=C26-1076%20P>
$15 for an 802.11b WiFi card looks to be a pretty-darn-good deal, but I can't find any trace of MacOS support on Proxim's website. Supposedly these Harmony cards _are_ supported by the open source driver under X <http://wirelessdriver.sourceforge.net/faq.html#supported> so could be a good choice for a Wallstreet or Lombard under X.x. I couldn't resist ordering a couple just to find out, so when they arrive I'll report their MacOS/X-compatibility. <G> I just remembered the topic, obviously if there are no drivers for classic MacOS (ie: for PBs 500 and 5300) then all this is rather OT. <G> Dan K ................................. http://macdan.n3.net/ carracho://dankephoto.dhs.org:9700 hotline://dankephoto.dhs.org:9500 ................................. -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
