Sorry, but I never had any problem partitioning or keepin multiple
OSs, I have two 9.1's one on each partition, the main partition is
1.3 gb and the second is 700 mb, the rest of the disk in 3 more
partitions, toghether about 79 gb, I have had and maybe still has
problems with the sonnet 350 mhz upgradecard, but not with the OS's.
I have not yet seen any of the invisible files, (ha..) and the OS's
are on first and second partition. No Problem with that - I also keep
an updated copy of the systems on a sparedrive and on cd, so if
something really bad should happen, I can just erase and copy the
workin system with all extras right from the sparedrive, and be
workin again in just a few minutes. NO Problem with copying back and
forth either. The second partition I use for Toast burner and Sound
editing, (proTools free - which can really sometimes mess up the
filesystem), and the burner needs to be workin alone not to make
coasters. But all in all it works very nice - I am sad if you have
had other experiences.
