Hi, 1. I have a powerbook 5300 and bought a used Global Village 56k pcmcia modem. When I open the GV icon on the desktop, I can choose a compression type for the modem: MNP4, V.42, MNP5, V.42bis, MNPIVEC, etc. Which should I choose (what do they stand for?) or should I click on 'None'. 2. I have a Stylewriter 2500 and the modem plugged in. After I put the computer to sleep, it will not wake up. I have to re-start with the Control, Option,and Power keys. How do I get it to awake properly? Thanks.
