It's not a cardbus card, hence no cardbus issues. Since it's the same chipset as the Wavelan and Airport cards it works fine.
I have a Wavelan that worked fine in my 5300; I'm having problems right now, but I think it's a misconfigured base station, or sometrhings messed up on my 5300.
The Proxim SkyLINE (or whowever it's capitalized) isn't the same as the WaveLAN. They are different chipsets, AFAIK. In fact, the Skyline's hertiage is the old 1- and 2-Mbps 802.11 FHSS standard as opposed to the DSSS 802.11b standard. Older skyline cards that only do 2-Mbps can still be found... The cards were updated by Farallon to do 802.11b, but they didn't use the WaveLAN chipset (maybe they did use the Prism chipset... I dunno).
It should still be interoperable with 802.11b (any vintage of Skyline should be). It should also be 100% supported on the 5300 with the Farallon drivers or whatever Proxim has come out with to update them.
Peace, Drew
