Sorry guys, I know this topic hasn't been discussed for a while, but does

anyone have experience with said card and a pb5300? I'm concerned about

cardbus issues.

It's a 16-bit card, so it works in a 5300. And, it should work in a 5xx.

I bought two, and a <name withheld> router/firewall/switch/wireless B/G
station.

The Proxim software installed flawlessly, and the card would correctly
indicate the presence of the wireless station (verified by the channel number, which
is selected on the station). Signal strength was initially good, but
gradually, over fifteen minutes, went to zero.

Never actually got a wireless connection.

We'll see how the replacement <name withheld> station works. The first one
was made in China by the acquiring company; the second one was made in Taiwan by
the original company, although the packaging was identical, the model number
was identical, and the bar code was identical.
