G-3 upgrade it and you get an L2 cache in the bargain.
This is missing the point, getting the 1400 is a cheap way to possibly be able to play MP3s and listen to Internet radio.
If I have to upgrade it to G3 then I may as well buy a G3 PowerBook. I have just been offered two 233MHz 14.1" Wallstreets (Mainstreets) for $150 each...
How much is a G3 upgrade for an ancient 1400 ?
