Anybody have any ideas of the pros and cons of using a MicroDrive with an older powerbook 1400?
I was wondering about power consumption and if there were any known incompatibilities?
You mean like the Hitachi (ex-IBM) Compact flash microdrives?
I'd expect none whatsoever. Put it in a pcmcia carrier card and it's a straight pcmcia device. The power consumption *is* going to be a bit higher than flash cards, but not a lot, they're designed to be low power devices, after all.
