Well, no matter what two devices U are using, it has always been my understanding that you boot the powerbook in SCSI ID mode 1st, get it into "triangle mode" (see, I can make up names TOO!) when the floating SCSI id# is going side2side, and then boot up the desktop OR 2nd Powerbook. ...so, no matter if you can use two Powerbooks, only ONE will have the SCSI ID mode adapter plugged into it...
