Andrew "Mr. 5300" Kershaw doesn't know "Mustang" was a codeword for that illustrious 'Book?!?!?
Heh, right!
Actually, the problem is that Gestlab lists the "Mustang" as having a different mach gestalt than the 5300, while it doesn't list the Kanga at all. 311 is similar to 306/7 for 2400/3400 and close to 312/14 for G3 Series (Wallstreet).
Supposedly, the "Mustang" gestalt is found in the 1400's ATA code, not the 5300. Actually, M2 was the 5300. I think Mustang was some sort of bastard mutant between 5300 and 1400. Maybe the rumored 5300 w/ CD-ROM?
In any case, I think I've found the right gestalt for the Kanga. It should be 313. Anybody with a Kanga care to corroborate? You'll need a tool that reports gestalt values to check - something like Gestlab should work well.
Peace, Drew
