> What OS are you running?
> How much RAM do you have?
Okay, right now I'm using OS 8.6, which seems to work well, and have 40 mb
RAM.
So while I got a good laugh out of the suggestion that i set up the 1400 for
wi-fi, it's probably not a top priority.
Um, could be I've got a turkey here (lowendmac: "road apple"). Glad I didn't
pay TOO much for it (live and learn). The latest revelation is that the
battery power was dropping OFF A CLIFF after about 45 mins., barely giving
the computer a chance to gulp a breath before shutting down. While studying
the issue and finding info about old bad adapters I happen to notice that
the one included with this book is a model # M7783, a duo adapter. >sigh<
Anyone know if its okay to use with a 1400? I don't see that it is when I
look around the web.
I guess these you can't turn into aquariums can you, unless you can find
active-matrix fish.
