When I had to wipe the the Hard drive I lost the modem drivers and anything internet related.
The modem is a early model Global Village internal. Beyond that, I don't know much about it.
As for internet, I need something like PPP and MacTCP. right?

Bill, not sure which Sys./OS you've installed, but this works from 7.1 ... I think it comes w/ 8.0 or 8.1

about half way down page, in networking/communication section :

Macintosh/Networking-Communications/Open_Transport/OT_1.1.2.txt

Read first, it encourages you to install Open Transport 1.1 first ...
then go to :

Macintosh/Networking-Communications/Open_Transport/OT_1.1.2-1of4.sea.bin
Macintosh/Networking-Communications/Open_Transport/OT_1.1.2-2of4.sea.bin
Macintosh/Networking-Communications/Open_Transport/OT_1.1.2-3of4.sea.bin
Macintosh/Networking-Communications/Open_Transport/OT_1.1.2-4of4.sea.bin
