I'm willing to upgrade my OS 7.5.5 540c to OS 8 and I'm not sure whether one of those OS 8.x install CDs that came with the G3 macs would work, or should I look for a more specific install set? I have a SCSI external CD drive... In alternative, can I just upgrade (for free) to OS 7.6, or would I need to buy that OS as well?
