Subject: Old school Appletalking

I'm trying to get some files off of a 520c with OS 7.5 to my iMac with 10.2.8. I've set up Appletalk via the ethernet connection, and can connect to the 520c with my iMac. Once I connect, however, I can't see any drives that I could connect to. File Sharing is, obviously, enabled on the 520c.

Any ideas offhand?

Thanks,

Ruffin Bailey

Have you tried going the other way - connecting to the iMac from the 520c using the IP address? I can't see anything running a lower OS from my iMac, but I can see it from something as old as my SE/30. You may have to install Appleshare Client 3.7.4 on the PB first...
