Bookies,
I'm really liking this 3400c. Got 9.1 to install from a G4 book
Install OS,no probs, got IE&OE 5 QT6. I am jackedinto the web via the
onboard ethernet. I put a Linksys 10/100 card in the slot and itmounted to
the desktop. Ihad it dongled into the router butit would not connect.
AppleTalk control panel did not show an alternative ethernet, just the one.
Does this card need a driver? Or is it Operator Error (again)?

Are you somehow dissatisfied with the onboard Ethernet, which has served me well for years? If it is Ethernet speed that you wish to improve, you may find that a PowerBook 3400c, with nice design but seven years old, has other limitations.

While I have an all-Linksys wireless network, I doubt that they even have Mac drivers for your card. You may wish to try a more Mac-friendly brand.
