How about using a Proxim Skyline 802.11b card? EPay has a bushel of them all 
the time... most for under $20 including shipping. 

I use it for my 1400c/183 and my 550c/183 because the software works with 
OS's all the way back to 7.x(!). I use a Wavelan Orinoco for my PCI G2s and G3 
Powerbooks...

Incidently, the software is obtainable online (if it does not come with the 
card), or through the list...
