I'm getting nothing. When the system is booted on the 3400c the blue screen
of the digitial projector comes on and I see the hour glass icon. Then the
screen flickers and in the upper right corner the message no input appears.
I go to the monitors control panel and there is one icon. It is set to the
recommended setting resolution.
I can't get to any video output settings or control..............

As your email specifies, I have no problem when hooked up to a vga monitor
as your instructions imply. But I get nothing through the laptop.
