Seems reasonable, as the hardware and software considerations ... at least for the 2400, 3400, 3500 (Kanga) and "G3 Series" (WS-I/WS-II) are similar. The 2400 and 3400 are 604e, but also are PCI and Cardbus. The 3500 and WS are G3 (750), but are also PCI and Cardbus. If the 3500 and WS aren't allowed, the perhaps the 2400 and 3400 should be excluded as well, as the 2400 and 3400 have more in common (PCI, Cardbus) with the 3500 and WS (same) than they do with the 1400, et. al.
