You have to get yourself out of the "newer is always better" syndrome - for it is very untrue. Especially on a Duo 2300. OS 9.1 yikes!
Just a word of warning..... Either way you have to get an external CD-ROM, and for that you need either a dock or the crazy Duo - SCSI microdock. Or a minidock.
