Subject: PCMCIA card for USB ports

Hi Mac Experts,

I would like to buy a PCMCIA card to get USB ports on
my 3400c. Do you know if I normally need drivers to
make it work with my Powerbook? Do I need to make sure
the manufacturer supplies Mac drivers?

I know the other thing to be concerned about is if the
card will physically fit in the slot.

Does anyone have a recomendation for a low cost PCMCIA
card for USB ports for powerbook?

This question comes up once or twice a year. You may want to search the archives. An ordinary Belkin USB card works in my 3400 with only a very minimal shaving to get it to fit in the slot. You will want the hacked USB driver, it's not hard to find online.
