but shouldn't you just use the Italian Installer?!!?
I am used to the US system software so I prefer to have the US System 7 and not the Italian (item in the menu are sorted alphabetically sand since I am now used to look, say, for Chooser at the top of the Apple menu instead of "Scelta risorse, which is rather at the bottom...).
I have now to installthe US System 7 on a dozen of old Macs with the Italian keyboards and I just wanted to save time.
The System 7 installer allows only to choose different packages (drivers, kind of system software), but not single pieces of software.
So I was just wondering if it is possible to add more keyboard layouts without using ResEdit.
The keyboard layout is not a file but is nested into the System file! Ben -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
