Hi all update as promised.
The 550c is working the drive is now partitioned with 4 drives but
for some reason 2 of the drives will not mount the mac just says at
start up that 2 of the partitions cannot be read at start up. I will
sort this later .
I still have 14gb of space from the rest of the drive though so thats
enough. the system is also running at 167mhz from the nupower card
and the batteries i have managed to recon are showing 2 hr 56 mins.
Running system 8.1 I have a pcmcia cage but it is a revision b is the
cage from another mac able to be swapped because if so i have a
pcmcia flash drive 512.mb and an orinoco card that i can use.
any one tried to do this. if so any ideas.
