Nope.  Just using the A/C adapter with no battery.

I am not sure (other members of the list may have more pertinent input) but I
would start with the PMU board located under the HD cage. Outside of
replacing it, checking to see if it is firmly seated on the motherboard, as well as making sure the wire cable connecting it and the PRAM battery is properly
connected, may pay off.

Well, back in the summer, I had to replace the latch on the display. I disconnected the cable for the PRAM battery, but the wires came out and there was corrosion on the plug where the battery and the connector met. Since then, I haven't had a PRAM battery or cable in the 3400.
