That's a lie I use it every day. I use the older version 6 of the drivers. You can download them at http://www.system7today.com/ under software - hardware drivers.

Hey genius, that's not a lie.

Airport does not work on the 1400. Airport is a hardware/software combination from Apple, and in this context, we're talking about the software. The software will simply not work. Nor would an Airport card.

Airport is not a protocol, either. The protocol is 802.11b, and that works fine on the 1400. Because the Airport base stations all implement 802.11b, you can access them from your Mac, but this is not saying that Airport works on the 1400.
