Hi Chuck,

The instruction on how to flash the ROM come with the
driver as well as the ROM flashing utility.
Versiontracker and/or XLR8yourmac are the best places
to look for the drivers.

Remember that only the Voodoo3 (and Voodoo4 and 5)
give you 2D acceleration, Voodoo1 and 2 are a
completely different beasts and are meant to add 3D
acceleration only.

The 2D acceleration will redraw the windows faster and
more importantly scroll faster (and compared to the
IMS Twinturbo128 M8 very much faster).

They won't, of course, help you with the downloading
part.

The Voodoo3 is a terrific card selling sometimes
cheaper than a new IXMicro Ultimate Rez with maybe
50-100% faster 2D acceleration. 3D is way faster.

And in regard to my contribution, I am only passing on
what others in this and other lists have taught me in
the past and what I am learning every day from each
and everyone of you.

This is a great list with only the occasional flame,
which usually wears off pretty quickly, unlike other
lists.

I am wandering though, does anybody know what happened
to William (Ahearn I think) and Michael? I haven't
seen any posts from them for a few months now.

Cheers to all
Andrea
