I can't say that I don't agree on the best backup option, but I do differ in
regards to Retrospect.  We use it at work, and I've never gone to restore
something and had it be unretreivable.  There are options like crazy, and it
can be a little tricky to set up, but once that's done, it's worked like a
charm for us.  I've even tried to use it at home, with my CD-R drive, which
it supports, but the backup was taking too long, so I stopped it.
