I am running a Powerlogix G3 500 card in my PowerTower 180e with only a few
occasional crashes.

Read Powerlogix doco that comes with the daughter card and you should be
fine.

I am using 9.0.4, but have read of problems with 9.1 and X. Since both would
require paying for software upgrades anyway, I am permanently stopped at
9.0.4 (stingy me!) Others on this list have upgraded to 9.1 and X on other
Power Computing hardware with minimal problems.
