Hi folks. This is my first post to this list. I've been lurking for awhile and
have
complete confidence in you guys. Thanks in advance for any advice you may have.

I have a Power Tower 180e that I wish to revive but cannot get anywhere with it.

Here are the symptoms:

1. Front light lights, but I don't get the impression that either of the two
drives are starting up.
There is no start up chime, and I cannot hear the drives running.

2. No monitor data. I am using a monitor that works fine on another computer but
when I connect it
to this one and push the start button, it seems to start to turn on, but then
immediately goes to energy saving mode.
I get no picture whatsoever. The adapter to the MAC connection is a little bent
and may not be connecting correctly.
I will probably buy a new one of these next.

3. I thought this problem was a power supply, so I bought a new one. No changes.

4. I've replaced the battery.

5. Tried to zap PRAM, but I get no chimes when I do this...

6. Tried starting without extensions, no luck here either...

Anybody have any other ideas I could try?

This computer worked fine for years, then died, then came back on I think maybe
once or twice, then died again.
I have not been able to start it since.

Thanks a lot!
Tony
