I wouldn't worry too much about the mounting hardware, as long as it fits and is stable you should be fine. I've mounted hard drives with no mounts at all (don't jostle that computer!) as a temporary fix.
I have had problems with internal Zip drives and PCC machines, but mounting has never been an issue. --Neil Fein Edison, NJ I cannot get a zip disk to eject from the internal zip drive on my PW120. The manual eject button doesn=B9t work. The disk will not mount on the desktop. I have removed the drive but am reluctant to forcibly pull the disk from th= e drive. I also order a replacement ZIP drive from MacResQ but it does not resemble the drive I removed from the PW120. The new drive came without a mounting bracket assembly. Can I use the original mounting unit? How does one replac= e the drive? -- Power Computing is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... 123Inkjets.com <http://lowendmac.com/ad/123inkjets.html> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Power Computing list info: <http://lowendmac.com/power/list.html> Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> List archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/powercomputing%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Macintosh?
