The folks on this board were extreamly helpful in my research as to why apple
did not support anything above 8.5 for my machine. I followed your advice,
and successfully installed OS 9,04 on my 'puter, encountered the problems I
was warned about, used the reccommended fixes and everything works great.
On installation from OS 9.0 CD:
Chose Easy Install.
Error Msg:
Apple cannot update your drivers
Click continue, it installs anyway.

New OS didn't see the CD drive:
Just copied my old one that came with the machine and disabled apples CD
Driver. Problem fixed.

Thank you for helping.
