Hi folks, I'm new to the list, so this question may have been covered to death.

I've got a powercenter 120, with a 300 mHz upgrade card, and have convinced
myself I need to add a firewire port. I added a USB port/card a year or so ago,
and haven't been too impressed with the results. I have a USB hard drive I had
hoped to use with it, but it is INCREDIBLY slow. I assume this may be a
function of the Powercenter's bus speed.

Can you guys: 1) recommend a firewire card that will work well with this model,
and 2) comment on whether there will be a noticeable improvement in speed with
a firewire drive compared to a USB drive... I realize firewire is inherently
faster - but is the bus speed going to cause the same bottleneck as I've
experienced with the USB port?

Many thanks,
Richard
