I have a Power Computing PTP 225 (original owner)
with 2 GB internal HD & 256 MB RAM
I use the internal HD for only system stuff and applications.
Otherwise I use external HD for files and I am reloading the software
on the external HDs.

I had a combination Firewire / USB card installed.

I recently upgraded with Sonnet G3 and had an Asante 10/100bT PCI
Ethernet card installed.

I now have a Western Digital 30 GIG, and La Cie 80 GIG (I do Graphic
work)

I am frustrated, BIG TIME, with the memory performance and I have run
out of things to try and walls to bang my head on.

I cannot copy, move files, or open images without my computer hanging
up.

I have reloaded the System SW and now am limited because I get messages
saying there is not enough memory to run the installer.

Virtual Memory is OFF
RAM disk is OFF
CACHE is 8160
I have an internal Jazz, an external SCUSI zip, and the two external
HDs.

Do you have any ideas how I can overcome this problem with the 256 MB
RAM that I have. I will buy more memory when I have the money.
