Lately I've gotten a few replies from
companies/persons I don't know and therefore wouldn't
have sent an email to in the first place.  So why
would I get replies if I hadn't sent them something?

Some of these replies are auto-responses from servers
saying "You're email contained a virus that has was
disinfected."  I tend to believe them...
