Just get an adapter from http://www.mcpb.com/scsi211.html (converters)
I have several different 68 and 80 pin drives with these converters
with no problem. Download the drive specs from the manufacturer.
Sometimes the 80pin drives require a certain jumper to be on for
initial drive spinup. I have ST3255WC 2G 80 pin, ST31250WC 4G 80pin
(jumper for spinup), ST32550W 2G 68pin, QM39100TD 9G 68pin with
active terminator on the cable. You may have termination issues. I
would suggest active termination for the 23G
http://www.mcpb.com/scsi212.html (terminators). Only the Quantum
drive that I have required the active termination, the other drives I
have have been successfully terminated on the 50scsi chain by the
CD-ROM.
