smart move wiping the HD...at least the screwups that occur now will be
your own =)
the internal CDROM is probably a Teac and will need the CDROM Toolkit or OS 7.6
cd drivers to be recognized.

That unit will make an excellent server. Check out the system profiler and
you will see that it is recognized as a mac 9650 workgroup server.
