Scott,

This may be unrelated, but I had a similar problem using a Gateway2000 17"
monitor plugged into a Twin Turbo 128 card. It only happened if I was
sharing the monitor, via a switchbox, with another video output. In this
case, it was either my Windows box or my a little TV tuner box I have.

It didn't matter which one was hooked up, as soon as I booted the
PowerCenter, it lost the plot on the previous monitor synch and resolution
( 65hz, 1028 x 768) and defaulted to 640 x 480 and synched to green. It
never happened with the previous Synnex monitor I had. And it doesn't ever
happen with the monitor plugged straight into the Twin Turbo card.

Are you sharing the monitor with something else?

Cheers,

Martin
