Me again. I have purchased Sonnet G3 cards from 300 MHg to 500MHz (even an 040 card for my old IIvx). All have served me well and all are still in service (my 6 year old Grandson is using the IIvx). I had one new board come dead in the water and Sonnet put a replacement in the mail the same day I called. Heard some scary stories about the Sonnet G4 cards, So rather than investigate it fully, I whipped out the old Credit Card and plum shot my self in the foot. I bought a PowerLogix G4 450MHg and it took me over 100 hours to get the !@#$%^ Working and then some what stable. It still crashes more than anything other unit I have OS 9.1 on ... OS X ? Get serious. Back in Arlington, TX,I have OS X (Jaguar) on a eMac. I use OS 9.2 when something important needs to be completed. On the other hand, it was 82 degrees today. Sun goes behind the mountains at 5:00. At 6:00 pm, we were having Gin & Tonic on the patio. My son in Deadwood,SD didn't want to hear it.
