I'm thinking about replacing the original 2gb hard drive on my PCP180 with a 9gb UltraSCSI 80 pin seagate drive(http://www.softwareandstuff.com/h_65gbhdrive.html) from Surplus computers. By the looks of it, i will need an 80 to 50pin adapter. Does anyone know if these drives are compatible with macs and apple's drive setup?
Also, the PCP has an Adaptec 2930BU ultra SCSI card. Is there a version of their Power Domain Control Panel that works with this card? There's no info on this particluar card on their site. Thanks in advance for any advice. Vendor's description of drive: Seagate ST19171WC, SCA 80 Pin Ultra SCSI Hard Drive. 9.1 GB, 7200RPM, 9.7ms access time. Condition: New Pulls, Warranty: 30 days. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable.
