My Palm has a cradle that connects to the modem or printer port, via a
serial port adapter cable. My wife bought me my Palm with some sort of Mac
accessories kit, which included the adapter cable.

There are a trillion different models of Palm, and they have their own
unique cables and connectors. Nonetheless, both my Palm IIIe and my wife's
Palm IIIc can share it; the cradle also serves as a recharging station for
the IIIc rechargeable battery (recommended).
