Hi Bob, Were still out here, plenty of folks on this list. I guess they are all on vacation or something. There are about 273 members on this list and we will be glad to help you with your PowerBase. I have one that I use as an MP3 player and burner and it runs SETI when it idle. Are you installing USB 2? If not you probably would have been much better off with a SCSI card or FireWire. As for being on the endangered list - I think not - my 7 PowerComputing machines are humming right along and I am looking for more.
