Perhaps we have all been quiet because our Power Computing Macs have all been
behaving very well. :)

I love my machine, and it has given me very few problems over the years. I
will be getting a new laptop soon, and have successfully made a case to my PC
husband for making it a mac. I can't afford a new G4 with all the bells and
whistles (in my lotto winning dreams maybe) so I will be buying older and of
course used. (it will be new to me.) I was wondering if anyone could offer
some suggestions about what to get to fill my needs. I will need at least
512 meg of memory and os10, & intense graphics capability for KTP Bryce &
photoshop & Illustrator, plus microsoft office suite and Flash & Macromedia
programs- (pretty easy to tell from that list I'll be making web pages.) I
was looking at an iBook, but am not sure. One thing I REALLY want is CDRW
capability, but don't really need DVD. Any ideas out there? What should I be
looking for?
all suggestions...(well ALMOST) welcome.
Jean
