A few general thoughts...

I trust DiskWarrior far more than I trust Norton. Whether it would
be any help in this case, I dunno. That may depend on just what
major errors Norton found but couldn't fix. Like many people, I do
use Norton sometimes (especially SpeedDisk); but afterwards, I always
run DiskWarrior.

In the past, I sometimes partitioned large drives, as you have done.
My PowerBase 180 is still set up with several different partitions,
each with a different OS. But these days, I never boot with an OS
earlier than 8.1, so I can always use an HFS+ formatted drive. So,
for me, there seems little point in setting up a standard HFS
partition.

In light of that, in your situation, I might be tempted to start
completely fresh: back up everything, reformat the hard drive (as a
single HFS+ volume), thoroughly test the drive every which way, than
reinstall or restore what's needed. That may sound like a lot of
work. But unrepairable major errors make me nervous.

But first I'd give DiskWarrior a crack at it.

Best of luck.
