When I turn on the computer I get a black screen and no start up chime. Anyone have any ideas why this didn't work? Is this the wrong processor upgrade for the motherboard? I've examined the documentation and the book and www.sonnettech.com to see if I had the correct processor. It looks like it is the correct one. Jim, Went thru the same thing with the crescendo G3/400 1m in december for my PCP 180. called Sonnet and after a few questions, they decided it had a bad chip and gave me an RMA. As it was their end of the year inventory, they couldn't send out a replacement and when they could, they didn't have one. I got bumped up to the G3/500 512k and it worked immediately. Their tech support was terrific throughout. You may just have a bad chip or as you thought the wrong card for your computer. Also, do the Sonnet instructions say to hold the CUDA button for 30 seconds? Good luck! __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
