Do you only have the iMac install disk? If you try to use the installer it will refuse to work on a non-iMac. However, if you have the hard drive restore CD you should be able to mount the hard drive disk image and just copy over the system folder.

I own a Power Tower Pro 225. I want to do a clean install 0f OS 9 and need the Appropriate disc to do so. What is the right OS 9 disk for this Machine? I've tried an iMac disk but it didn't work. Where can I get the OS 9 disk configured for the PTP 225?
Thanks H.
